Sir,

We as the Youth League of Barotseland would like to remind and inform you on the realities of Barotseland’s statehood as follows:

We have credible information that your government is planning to kill the Litunga, the Ngambela, Nationalists and the people of Barotseland in general so that you can get our God given land, you had even sent eight (8) trucks of soldiers into Barotseland for the same mission.

We want to inform you Sir, without reservation that we the youths of Barotseland are more than ready to die for our fatherland, and we remind and assure you that should you just do that you will earn yourself a passport to the international Criminal Court, where you shall answer to the charges of genocide, you alone without the security forces you are ordering to commit the genocide.

Sir, you should not deceive yourself that you are above the international law that’s what Mr.  Charles Tailor of Liberia and the late Col. Muammar Gaddafi of Libya thought, but alas they were deceived and the law visited them and judged them accordingly.

There is an adage which says “ mighty  is not always right” therefore, we remind you that Rupiah Banda together with his colleagues have a pending case against the people of Barotseland and  very soon, they shall appear before the international Criminal Court, where they shall answer to the charges of genocide and crimes against humanity related cases, which they committed in 2011 against the people of Barotseland of which  the majority of youths were killed, maimed, tortured and falsely imprisoned because of their displeasure over the abrogation of the Barotseland Agreement 1964, which is now null and void.

We the people of Barotseland do not owe you anything all that we did was to claim or take back our Country which you Northern Rhodesians, covetly, cunningly and fraudulently got. If you are aggrieved, we challenge you to go to the international court of justice period, but we can assure you that you can never win that case.

Moreover, we have said it time and again that you and Kaunda are one and the same because, you are both Dictators.
Mr. President few days after your inauguration, you said that, you will rule Zambia using the Biblical Ten Commandments, but to our surprise you are not ruling  as you are claiming, we remind you some of them according to our situation.
Exodus 20:2, 13, 15, 16 and 17 say
”2 I am the lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the house of bondage.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house; thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, or his manservant, or his maidservant, or his ox, or his ass, or anything that is thy neighbor’s.”

Mr. president you have never and you are not ruling Zambia using the Biblical Ten Commandments because we have credible information that you are planning to order soldiers to kill us the people of Barotseland and our king the Litunga  and the Ngambela so that you get our God given land. That is totally against what the Biblical Ten Commandments state, now which Biblical Ten Commandments are you using in ruling Zambia, is killing and coveting other people’s property allowed in the Bible? Do not wear a sheep’s skin when inside you, there is a ‘wolf’

You Northern Rhodesians even deceive the world that you are a Christian Nation, and a haven of peace and democracy, when in fact you are not because the security forces killed people last year. We did not hear or see any church that voiced out to condemn the barbaric actions by the Rupiah Banda administration, but today when we declared that we have reverted to our earlier status before 1964 that’s when we are seeing churches and individuals from Northern Rhodesia praying for peace, which peace are you praying for? Who is fighting in Barotseland? This is totally unacceptable and hypocrisy of the waste kind of behavior that we the Barotse people shall never tolerate or accept such kind of barbaric behavior from you northern Rhodesians. We want to tell you that there is a lozi saying, which states that” when a person is angered can kill an elephant using a knobkerrie”

Mr. president today you may think you are powerful, because you have soldiers and policemen at your disposal, however, we would like to remind you that Charles Tailor thought them way as you are thinking today, but where is Charles Tailor today? The answer is simple and straight forward he has been sentenced to eighty (80) years imprisonment for committing genocide and crimes against humanity related offenses in his own country the same shall happen to you if you are not very careful.

In addition to that we would also like to remind you that in criminal law, ignorance of the law is not a defense and we would like also to remind your security forces that superior orders is not a defense in criminal law.

In fact it is you alone as an individual whom the international criminal court shall hold liable for crimes that your security forces has committed and will continue committing  against the Barotse Nationals and consequently, you shall be given a stiffer penalty accordingly being the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. It’s like you leaders especially African presidents do not learn from past mistakes your colleagues have made, look at presidents like Saddam Hussein, Col. muammur Gaddafi and the recent case of Charles tailor, who thought they were powerful, just because they had state machinery at their disposal, where are they toady? You see Mr. President we are not scaring you, but, we are just reminding you the realities as they are nothing else.

We have credible information that your beloved first lady (wife) gave you a timely advice at the time when, we were having our Barotse National Council, when you wanted to disrupt our meeting using your security agencies not to do it, because you will be held responsible as an individual.

Even Winter Kabimba who is busy deceiving you be careful with him because, he has lozi blood flowing in his body, he is just a disgruntled person because when things shall turn sour he will not be by your side to defend you and look at your age it will be very unfortunate for you to start appearing in Hague to answer to charges of crimes against humanity and genocide related offences. You lose nothing by letting the repatriation and reparation processes between your country Zambia and Barotseland to take place peacefully without shedding any blood after all you are not the one who abrogated the Barotseland Agreement 1964, but it is Mr. Kenneth Kaunda, then why should you entangle yourself in troubles that you were not involved.

Mr. President do not trust Winter Kabimba because a lozi is a lozi and will die a lozi” kokulila mukombwe kona kwa hae”

Remember that as youths we indicated in our letter that we wrote to Mr. Kenneth Kaunda and copied to you that we demanded that he apologizes to both the international community and to the people of Barotseland for unilaterally abrogating an honorable international treaty with impunity and without shame, failure to do so we will have no choice, but we shall petition the international community to publicly dishonor him immediately and if he thinks we are joking let him wait and see what we the youths of Barotseland are capable of doing.

We as youths of Barotseland are shocked and amazed that you as a Head of State can even start threatening us unarmed people of Barotseland that we are on a weaker side and you have the police and the army at your disposal, this confirms to us that you have inherited Kaunda’s style of ruling using an iron fist. However, we want to inform and remind you without reservation that such kind of rule is not accepted and tolerated by the world today that’s the reason why the international community has put satellites in Barotseland in order to protect us the people of Barotseland and monitor your military’s movements because they also heard your statement and they know for sure that we are on a weaker side. Remember the lozi adage cited above” An angered person can kill an elephant using a knobkerrie”.

If you want to commit genocide and be indicted for the same by the international Criminal Court, then order your security forces to kill us, we are not scared of anything, because we have done nothing wrong. The now null and void Barotseland Agreement 1964, which has been repudiated by the Zambian government, but we can assure you that should your security forces shed any blood in Barotseland this time around and you yourself shall be held responsible and we even wonder how much blood you Northern Rhodesians want to shed in Barotseland just barely a year from the time the Zambian security forces killed our brothers mostly the youths.

We therefore, appeal to the international community such as the United Nations, NATO, AU, and SADC to come to our rescue before your security forces start killing us because, you Northern Rhodesians are very cruel, hateful and malicious towards us the people of Barotseland. You are not thankful to us after redeeming you from the shackles of poverty in which you were  wallowing, you still want to kill us for reverting to our original status where we were before the 1964 Barotseland Agreement was signed which is now null and void, because you Northern Rhodesians repudiated it with impunity and without shame.

We are aware that your government had sent the United Church of Zambia Reverends and Lay persons to Barotseland specifically at Lilelelo mission in order to destabilize the Barotse Nation. The contents of their mission were well known. As if that was not enough your government had previously sent the Council of Churches in Zambia, the NGOCC and the rest to Barotseland in order to covet.

We are also aware of the mission tasked to the group led by Mr. Crispin Shumina which lodged at Majesty lodge in Mungu Barotseland for the purpose of destabilizing the Barotse Nation using bloody money funded by your government, but it shall never work. We remind Shumina and the group that, them as Malozi they know what KUNU means.

Finally your message on the African Freedom Day eve does not reflect the true picture of what you have done and what you still continue to do to the people of Barotseland,  because you yourself and your government are still colonizing Barotseland. Give Caesar what belongs to Caesar.
