The Ngambela's Position Paper Presented to the UN Representative Held at Limulunga on 19h June 2012

The Barotse National Council (BNC) held on the 26th and 27th of March 2012, representing the Barotse people at a village, Branch, Ward, District and Provincial levels arrived at a position that Barotseland be separated from Zambia and, thus, free to pursue its own self-determination and destiny. That action was arrived at as a consequence of Zambia's repudiation of the Barotseland Agreement 1964.

In the process of actualizing its intents and purposes, the BNC took cognizance of the importance of the United Nations in international politics and conflicts. In doing so, they among others, resolved that:

•    The Barotse Government should, within 30 days request the UN to oversee the transition in process.
•    We mandate the Barotse Government to immediately to engage the Zambian Government with the sole purpose of working out the transitional arrangements towards self-determination for Barotseland within the shortest possible time under the auspices of the United Nations.

The Barotseland Transitional Government must be put in place, as per BNC resolution number 7 and 8. Otherwise the BRE is now stack they don't know what to do next, but they don't want to come in the open that they have failed.

Now if they fail to follow what was agreed at the BNC, can they treat commoners with respect? BRE must never be in the front fighting for independence of Barotseland, but give moral support in the background, and life goes on.

bo joseph the bre are not stack.as much as we need to step right ahead the house of lords must work with us.what we should call upon nw is the movements must meet and have the matter resolved with the kuta.i thnk the movements barotse national youth league, linyunga ndambn, barotsel and national youth league, bfm, more ba.must have regular meetings i thnk the joint meetings must be heald as much as posible, let the ngambela lead the intrime government during the transitnalt period after then the country z stable then movements nw takes for election to elect the prime minister and form the real civil government-hous e of comon.the ngambela is cold the lord chancel therefor as at nw let him be given the chance to go ahead and drive us to the other side.when forming the intrime government the movements must be the ones to form it together with the ngambela.this ma opinion.we should nt send wrng signal to the international community by trying to be divide and like we are hungry for power.i think the meeting is vital and soon to iron sme of thse misunderstandin g.i like how we are debating ths matter and i c the gud solution in the end.we have cme afar and we knwn to be people who cn use our brain and fight for our gud indepence.bo joseph,i have sme infor that even the sme people who were said to take the matter to court will not take the matter to court and i have the infor that they have been advised correctly by international community my appeal to u people here is please lets have thse groups meet and have some issues soughted out.
