The relationship of Britain and Barotseland was based on treaties signed, but when the treaties were terminated, also the relationship came to an end; similarly, the relationship between Barotseland and Zambia came to an end when Barotseland Agreement was terminated

Litunga, Ngambela refuse to meet Veep Scott

Guy Scott - Zambia Vice President

Both the King and Ngambela of Barotseland have refused to meet Vice-president Guy Scott, according to the Zambianwatchdog online publication

Guy Scott was in Western province over the weekend on some unknown mission.

Scott told government newspapers that he was in Mongu on an unofficial visit and merely accompanied his wife Charlotte, who officiated at the women empowerment programmes at the invitation of the Ministry of Gender and Child Development.

“When I learnt that she was coming here, I took the opportunity and I want to spend time with the party, which we have not met since elections. I also want to talk to government officers about development,” he said.

But the Watchdog is reliably informed that the PF regime is worried at its rejection in Barotseland and Scott was sent to go and assess the situation.

Reports that the British High Commission was in Barotseland to see the situation for himself has further worried the regime which many say came to power through lies.

But Scott’s attempt to meet the Litunga was snubbed as the Litunga flatly refused to meet anyone connected to the PF government. Scott then tried to meet Ngambela Clement Sinyinda who did not even respond the request sent through provincial minister Obvious Mwaliteta.

Scott later told his party cadres that "Western Province" deserves a fair allocation of national resources in the 2013 national budget like any other region in Zambia.

Why he said this God knows because Scott is one of the people allocating resources in the budget and he was supposed to tell this to his friends in Lusaka.

I thought the PF government said the Litunga has no powers. Hahahahahaha they now have realised that he actually has. Please if you have ears hear and if you have eyes see, Barotseland is gone it is not part of Zambia. Never play around with LOZIS they are too smart for you.

Please note that the story in the Zambian Watch[censored] is totally false. The Right Honourable Ngambela and His Majesty the Litunga Imwiko II had accepted for the Zambian Vice Presidentpay coutesy call. That was the oppotune time to remind the Zambian Government that their government should cooperate in the implementation of the roadmap leading to Barotseland''s Independence.

Bo Muwana, do not believe the story that Kabimba was warly welcomed in Mongu. The activities where Kabimba performed were attended to mainly by the PF cadres and Security forces. At the stadium, pupils like their teachers were forced to attend. There was a memo encouraging the teachers to attend! Ask bo Sikwindi, the assistant SG, to tell you what the PF advance party did to that effect. The town, ie, business, did not come to a stand still. At night shops are always closed. Kabimba's police and GRZ vehicles just caused a lot of traffic jams.
